P.W. "Solo-Kolos" was established in 1993 and five years later it was granted the status of Sheltered Work Enterprise (an enterprise employing disabled people). Consistent and coherent marketing and commercial strategy applied by the company has favoured its constant development. Currently, P.W. "Solo-Kolos" employs 63 people, 40 of which are disabled. Since the very beginning of its operation on the market the company's main economic activity has been distributive trade of paper, paper-related products, office and computer accessories. P.W. "Solo-Kolos" acts as a representative and distributor of numerous prominent and acknowledged brands, such as: Emerson, Esselte, International Paper, NC Koperty, Leitz and many others. The company is also a manufacturer of lever arch files, archive binders and other paper products. It successfully created its own brand of archive files called METEOR. Growing demand for the provision of complex office service quickly encouraged the company to engage also in this area of trade activity.

In 2005, in order to raise the quality of the services provided, P.W. "Solo-Kolos" implemented the Quality Management System that meets the PN-EN ISO 9001:2001 standard. The Certificate was granted by the Certification Bureau of the Polish Register of Shipping Joint Stock Company. The certified System covers the provision of office service, wholesale and tender trade of paper and office products, production and sale of lever arch files, bullets for pneumatic delivery facility, cone gaskets, filtration sacks and accessories.
